Whortleberry Studio is our comfortable self-contained, bright, airy and spacious double accommodation set in its own secluded garden in the picturesque village of Porlock, on the edge of Exmoor National Park.
Ideal for extending you trip and exploring Somerset's beautiful countryside and coastline, our studio offers a relaxing, peaceful and welcoming base just moments from local shops, pubs cafes and scenic walks.

Freshly cooked breakfast is taken in the tearoom at the front of the building, a short outside walk from the studio.
The studio offers privacy, comfort and a relaxed atmosphere - perfect after a day exploring Exmoor National Park, Porlock Wier, Dunster, Lynton and Lynmouth and the surrounding Somerset coast.
With beautiful walks, independent shops and traditional pubs all nearby, Porlock is an ideal base for a peaceful West Country escape.
Guests staying with us can also enjoy the convenience of our traditional tearoom serving homemade cake, cream teas, light lunches, loose leaf tea and lovely local coffee.

For May and June 2026 we are accepting 2 night bookings at £112 per night to include Full English Breakfast.

Access Statement
Whortleberry Studio is not suitable for guests with mobility issues due to the access as the studio is located to the side of a steep drive, there are three steps down to the garden of the studio from the gate access, and a further four steps down to the patio where the access door to the studio is located, there is then a threshold step to enter the studio.
Our Studio B&B accommodation in Porlock is the ideal base for exploring all Exmoor and the West Somerset coast has to offer, from lovely walks and breath taking scenery to lovely coastal villages and towns, and our pretty village with an eclectic mix of individual shops, businesses, and local eateries - tearooms, pubs and restaurants all within easy walking distance.
